“Our cat care Society operates a limited admission cage free shelter for unhomed and abused cats while providing community outreach services to improve the lives of people and cats.” About the Moggy Care Society The CCS, set up in 1981 by Linda East, DVM and Lynn Rowe, is a non profit organisation established to boost the standard of life for unhomed, injured and abused cats in the Denver urban area. The Society’s goals are : * To sponsor instructional programs that push responsible pet possession, humane treatment of all animals, and getting rid of pet overpopulation ; * To shelter pussies in a good, cage free environment and to find compatible and responsible families for each cat ; * To provide community outreach programs that improve the standard of life for cats and folks ; * To be a friend to all cats. This accomplishment, on average for CCS, is 467 cat adoptions per year, or 1.25 adoptions every day, each day for the cat care Society’s first thirty years. The CCS is supported by numerous faithful members and contributors, without whom the shelter could not operate. CCS receives no state funding.
